Breidenthal and it seems he was quite a prominent Kansas City, Kansan. There are a lot of hits on him, including the information that there is a foundation in the name of him and his wife and there are 355 pages of his papers at the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka. You are correct, that reports him dead in 1960. I would think that either the Foundation or the KSHS (http://www.kshs.org/) might be able to help you with his death date. Otherwise, you can check out the resources I posted for another of your people on KS cemeteries and libraries and death certificates at the Wyandotte County Courthouse. A word of caution. Some Kansas City, KS, residents opted to be buried in Kansas City, Jackson, MO cemeteries since the cities are next to one another.
