    3. Hi! Thomas J. Glascock, born June 22, 1848, near Hannibal, MO, moved to Kansas City, Wyandotte County about 1884. He was living there in 1925. I understand that Thomas, his wife, Jenny A. (Gunn) Glascock, who died in 1898, and their son, Vincent, 1893-1897, were buried at the Wood Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City. Would like to know the date of Thomas' death and if he and Jenny are buried at Wood Lawn Cemetery? Are there headstones for them? I understand the cemetery is closed. Thank you, Sheryl

    3. I was just at our local library today looking at a book for Woodlawn and went to the cemetery. It isn't closed exactly but it's been taken over by the Parks Dept and it is not maintained well. I actually did see one current marker from 1998 which surprised me. There's so many vandalized markers and dozens and dozens missing. You can still visit it but I wouldn't recommend anyone going alone or when it isn't broad daylight. The next time I'm at the library I can look for his name and when I make the next trip to the cemetery, I can look for a marker if one exists. Sheryl Miller <s.miller1st@sbcglobal.net> wrote: Hi!
