    3. "The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Thursday, July 8, 1920 U.S. AGENTS SPILLED HIS BOOZE. Israel PELTZMAN, who was arrested yesterday by prohibition agents when he appeared at the federal building to furnish bond for an employee arrested at his saloon, 1634 West Ninth street, for having possession of sixty gallons of wine and a gallon of whisky, appeared again today on another mission. "Those agents," he complained, "poured out my wine. I'm going to make some more and I want to know before hand if they'll pour that out too." PELTZMAN was warned by Robert L. MINTON, assistant district attorney, a new distillate, would suffer the same fate, and would result in PELTZMAN's arrest again. PELTZMAN then told MINTON he had changed his mind. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
