    3. John, on the Harper County KS list, a man named Jim Laird sends in posts from the old newspapers, namely the Harper Advocate, but he does several other counties also with their old newspapers. It has been so helpful to so many people who otherwise would not know what their ancestors had been up to "way back when". Have you considered doing the same - or would it be too time-consuming for you? He gets the microfilms interlibrary loan, and sends in posts about births, deaths, local newsworthy items, accidents, farm sales, etc. Similar to what you have posted here. Hope you have a good day!! FRIEND, a bookkeeper at the Cosby hotel, who died yesterday of sore throat at the general hospital, was sent to Cincinnati last night. Charley CONT, the infant son of Cansey CONT, 408 Cherry street, died yesterday.
