    3. The Kansas City Star is actually the Kansas City, Missouri newspaper, which at one time was printed in the morning and the evening; the Star was the evening edition; the Kansas City Times was the morning edition. They combined quite some number of years ago, into the Star. Now if he lived in Muncie, it's possible you want the Kansas City Kansan, which is the local Kansas City, Kansas newspaper. Muncie is part of KCK. Many times the obituaries were printed in both papers. I don't know if they have volunteers that will look up information or not, but the Mid-Continent Library in Independence, MO has alphabetical notebooks with obituaries back quite some number of years. It seems there's lots of people on here that have access to obituaries somehow, so I'm sure you'll get the information you're seeking shortly. If not, are there obituary indexes for both? I am looking for and obituary for Edward Brown of Muncie Kansas who died sometime between 1966 and 1969. I think he was either 99 or 100 years old and was also a Justice of the Peace. Does anyone have a suggestion how I could find a death date?
