I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the HOADLEY Family of Colorado. The first is a photograph of Frank HOADLEY which was taken at the Oiler Studio in Denver, CO. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or 1900's with Frank likely in his 30's at the time. The second photograph is one of Ruth Muriam HOADLEY which was taken at the DeLux Studio in Denver, CO. This photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Ruth's age noted on the back of the photograph as 1 year. Based on limited research I was able to locate this family in census records as follows: 1910 census of Cheyenne County, CO: Frank HOADLEY, age 35, married 15 years, born MN, parents born MN, a Farmer Katy HOADLEY, wife, age 34, married 15 years, 4 children/4 living, born OH, parents born OH Howard HOADLEY, son, age 14, born ND Thelma HOADLEY, dau, age 11, born ND Ruth HOADLEY, dau, age 8, born ND Winnie HOADLEY, dau, age 5, born ND 1920 census of Kansas City, KS: Frank HOADLEY, age 46, born MN, parents born OH, a Steam Shovel Engineer Catherine HOADLEY, wife, age 48, born IA, parents born OH Ruth HOADLEY, dau, age 18, born ND, a Smoke Co.
