Simmons Funeral Home FA 1-5775 Note that the death date you have in your request is actually the burial date. I did not find an obituary for John D. Karr in either "The Kansas City (MO) TIMES or STAR" newspapers. I suggest you take a look in the Social Security Death Index (SSAN: 511-40-2091 ), as it lists his last residence as 64442 (Eagleville, Harrison, MO) and look for an obituary in Eagleville, MO. Perhaps a local library can tell you what is available. I also suspect he died 4 or 5 days prior to the death date you have listed. It is also possible that there was an obituary published in "The Kansas City Kansan" newspaper. This is a small daily published in Kansas City, Kansas. I do not have good access to copies of it though. The Kansas State Historical Society has microfilms available for inter library loan to your local library of LDS Family History Center. Search for the microfilm number at this link http://www.kshs.org/library/news.htm Maple Hill Cemetery is located in Kansas City, Kansas. Do you need contact information for the cemetery?
