I thought I took you request to the library today when I did several other lookups. I must have forgot to take a look, because I don't have anyting for him in my results pile :-(. I will look later this week, and see what I can find. Most likley the obituary was published in one of the Kansas City, MO newspapers. They were the major metro papers even back then.
