The services were conducted by the Rev. B. A. Owen , pastor of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Frank Plank and Mrs. John Self sang "God Will Take Care Of You.", and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere". Burial was in Lee's Summit. Mr. Goodwin was born at Rosedale, Kansas, May 19, 1877, and had been a resident of Lee's Summit for nineteen years.He was married to Pearl Scott of Lee's Summit on September 11, 1912 and to them two children were born, Orville Goodwin and Harry Goodwin.
