    2. The Washington Republican Washington County Friday August 24,1900 Enosdale. Mrs. Nancy DIXON returned to her home in Hollis, Ks., after spending a few months with her cousin, M.J. CARSON. S.B. BROWN and family have gone on an overland trip to Jewell county. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. GARRETT are keeping house for S.B. BROWN. A.W. HORN has returned to his home in Craig, Mo. Mr. FILDS is repairing the Triumph school house getting it ready for the commencement of school. Miss Blanche WATSON will teach the school. Lew SPRENGLE's genial face was seen on our streets the 22nd. Hiram HAWORTH was a caller at C.M. DAMETZ's Saturday. Died, J.H. PETER's fine shepherd dog. John says he would just as soon have lost a horse.
