    1. Myers, Slover, Harvey in Haddam
    2. George and Sarah Myers, their son Andrew Jackson Myers, their daughter Mary E. Myers......all came to Haddam in 1859 from Carroll County, Illinois. They lived on their homestead (located in the same block as today's Methodist Church) for many years and then donated the land to the church and moved out north of town. Mary E. Myers married William Stephenson and they moved on to Muncie, Kansas (near KC) and took George and Sarah with them. Andrew and his wife Caroline Slover had the following children: Mary, Joseph, Annabelle, Charles, Andrew, Frank, Henry, Milford, Viola and Ellsworth. Caroline's, wife of Andrew and mother to these children, maiden name was Slover. I know her brother lived in or near Haddam, Levi. And Levi had two sons who lived out their lives in Haddam, Walter and Harvey. Caroline also had a sister named Martha Slover who married Charles Callender. I hope these names ring a bell with someone. I do have some information on these families I would be glad to share. My grandmother's parents were Mary (daughter of Andrew and Caroline). This Mary married James Harvey, son of Michael Harvey of Haddam. Grandmother married a fella from Republic County, Tarlington Carpenter. Thanks for reading this. Penny in Nebraska
