    3. I have Shatto ancestors from the early 1870's until the early 1890's in Sherman Township, Washington County, who I have researched quite extensively. Quite a few are buried in the Linn City Cemetery. I just ran across some entries on Ancestory.com for the US Federal Mortality Index, two of whom are Shattos reported in 1880 for Washington County: Bertie A. Shatto 1880 Washington Co., KS aged 6 M April born KS - unknown cause of death Harmon W. Shatto 1880 Washington Co., KS aged 9 M Mary born MO - died of scarlett fever I have no record of them or any mention of them from descendents; neither have I come across graves with these names. However, as my line of Shattos was the only one in Washington County at the time, they have to be kin. The problem is whose children might they be? Where can one get access to these census records? I assume they list parents and next of kin. Regards, Barry Michie - Manhattan
