The Washington Republican Washington County Friday April 24, 1896 Died, at Morrowville, Kans., Rebecca PEPPLE, aged 67 years, 9 months and 14 days. Sister Pepple suffered from a complication of diseases for a long time. She bore here affliction very patiently looking forward to the promise of God to his people,"That blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." Sister Pepple was born in Penn., in 1829, was married to Jonathan Pepple, Nov. 15, 1845. To them was born twelve children, four have passed over, eight still remain with the father to mourn the death of a loving wife and mother. Mother Pepple was converted to God when a girl and died in the triumph of living faith. Funeral at Morrowville church conducted by the writer. Interment in Blocker cemetery. She rests from her labor and her works do follow her.
