The Washington Republican Washington County Friday June 28, 1901 Michael LIPSEY was born near Berlin, Germany, Oct. 5, 1818, and died in Washington on June 22, 1901. He came to this country in 1850, he was married Octo. 20, 1856. He was a soldier in the Union army for nearly 3 years. He has lived in this community for some years. He was born in the Catholic faith but left that denomination for greater religious liberty. He became a member of the M.E. church 13 years ago. His funeral was held in the M.E. church, June 23rd. J.G. HENDERSON.
