A team ran away on our streets Tuesday evening but no hurt, unless it was the calf which was in the wagon. Mrs. WILLIAMS of Holton, visited with Will PRIEST and family and her daughter in Beloit this week, returning home Thursday. Oscar HUCKETT has added a bath room to his already (excellent barbershop.). This is a much needed article, and now gentleman take that neglected annual bath whenever you need it or not. Miss Della WARTENBEE's school closed last Friday with a basket dinner and program in the grove. One of Grenleaf's leading artists was there and photographed the school. The occasion was marred very much after dinner by Miss Della's horse getting choked to death while being tied to a tree. It is thought to be suicidal, as it was the last day of school, and the usual sad farewells were too much to be borne.
