Hi All, I'm new to this list and I recently encountered the "Souvenir from the Cole School" posted on the Washington County Link Pages. Could anyone enlighten me as to where this school was/is and any other information that might be available? It is very possible that the COX children listed could be some of my ancestors. My great grandfather (Thomas Cox) moved to Kansas from England via Canada in 1868. He raised a very large family there after settling in Lincoln Township. He died in 1900 in Greenleaf. I had no knowledge of any of this until recently since my grandfather left Kansas shortly after arriving and went back to Canada losing all ties with Kansas side of the family.
