The Washington Republican Washington County Friday July 27, 1900 Wedding Anniversary. J.R. WHITE and wife, better known as Uncle Jim and Aunt Jane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Wednesday of last week at their home in the southeast part of town. There were about 70 guests present and took dinner in a shady grove on the lawn. Mr. and Mrs. WHITE were married July 25, 1850, in Warren Co., Ind., and came to Washington county in 1863, settling over on the Little Blue. Mr. and Mrs. WHITE are clever old people, they have raised a family of 10 children, have 47 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Most of these were present Wednesday to enjoy the wedding anniversary.
