My great grandmother Samantha Augusta Bayne was married to Jesse Lucas in Coffeyville, KS about 1885. I base the date strictly on the birth of their first child Harvey Lucas in 1886 in Indian Territory. There was also a daughter Katie. Samantha's entire family may have been living in Coffeyville at that time. I know her brother Adolphus was buried in Stokes Cemetery in Dewey, IT in 1881. Her father was Oliver Perry Bayne, mother Mahala Hanlin Bayne, brother Robert Henry Bayne, sister's Lovina and Isabelle. I would appreciate any information on the Lucas or Bayne families.
