The Washington Republican Washington County Friday November 16, 1900 Seward, Okla., Nov. 10, 1900. After eight days of suffering with that dread disease diphtheria, Freddie WEIDENHEIMER closed his eyes in death Thursday morning, Nov. the 8th, aged ten years, ten months and seventeen days. His father, F.A. Weidenheimer, reached his bedside on Wednesday morning in response to a telegram sent Tuesday morning; he was so glad to see his papa. He was conscious most all the time during his illness and was patient, bearing his suffering with great fortitude for one of his tender age. When the final summons came he slept and when he awoke he was with his beloved mamma and little sisters in the home beyond. We miss the smiling face for his presence was like a ray of sunshine and we wonder why he was taken, then we remember our Savior said, "Of such is the kingdom of Heaven." Mrs. J.A. THOMAS.
