    2. The Washington Republican Washington County Friday November 16, 1900 Flaherty-Little Wedding. A quite though very pretty wedding took place Thursday, Nov. 8th, at the Catholic chapel in Greenleaf, the Rev. SANTARRE joining in marriage Miss Mae LITTLE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Little of Greenleaf, and Mr. Patrick H. FLAHERTY of Washington. The bride was exquisitely attired in a dress of cream silk richly trimmed and carried bride's roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Alice HOWLEY of Brantford, wore a dress of cream henrietta and carried white roses. The groom looked handome in the conventional black and William, of Atchison, brother of the groom served as best man. After the ceremony the wedding party returned to the bride's home where a boutiful repast was spread. Friends and relatives joined them in helping them to make the day long remembered. The bride is a popular young young lady with hosts of admiring friends and the groom is one of Farmington township's successful and worthy farmers. Their many friends and relatives join in wishing them a happy and successful life. Mr. and Mrs. Flaherty received many and costly presents. The young folks have gone to housekeeping in their home north of Washington.
