The Washington Republican Washington County Friday November 30, 1900 Last Friday Mr. Jacob ALLMENS, living 6 miles southwest of Haddam, received a telegram that his son Godfrid had been seriously injured on the railroad in Montana, and Saturday word came that he was dead. It is expected that the remains will arrive Wednesday night, the burial to take place Thursday.
