    2. Hello all, I'm new to the list and I've been reading the articles from the paper. My question is this? Are there older newspapers, prior to 1890 in Washington? My ggreat-grandfather was a Lutheran Minister in Greenleaf and I'd sure like to be able to check newspapers from 1885-1888. I look forward to hearing from anyone with this information. Thank you kindly. Lynn Researching Luschei/Zimmermann

    3. The Kansas State Historical Society has a bunch of old newspapers on microfilm that you can borrow through your local library, at no charge. Check their website to see what they have for Greenleaf. I have found them to be a fabulous resource for all types of old documents and records. http://www.kshs.org/ Julie Lynngns@aol.com wrote: >Hello all, > I'm new to the list and I've been reading the articles from the paper. >My question is this?
