Needless to say this has been difficult :) I know that on 23 Sep 1880 he and Charolina Hjartberg were married in WaKeeney, KS. I have a copy of the marriage certificate and license, but neither of these documents reference any additional family members. Do you know if there would be a marriage application or something else that would possibly give the name of one or both of his parents?
