The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 18, 1966 Ethel Pearson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Ethel S. PEARSON, 82, formerly of 1115 W. 10th, Topeka, who died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor MAYBERRY, Ellensburg, Wash., where she had lived in recent months. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Pearson was born Nov. 15, 1883 at Oneida in Nemaha County and spent most of life in Kansas. She was a member of Lowman Memorial Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service at the church. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Rebeccca Lodge No. 317, both of Herington. Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Isabel TAYLOR, Shawnee-Mission; a son, H.C. (Bill) Pearson, High Point, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Jessie GROVES, Raleigh, N.C.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
