The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 11, 1966 Donald C. Luther. Donald C. LUTHER, 78, died Monday at his home, 2101 W. 2nd. He was born Sept. 3, 1887 at Norton and lived in Topeka nine years. He lived at Goddland and later at Denver, Colo., before moving to Topeka. He was a conductor for Rock Island Railroad and retired in March 1957 after 55 years service with the company. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite bodies, all at Goodland. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Garnett Luther, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia MOSLEY, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. George BATES, at home; a brother, Gene Luther, Laguna Beach, Calif.; and a grandson. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
