The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday January 23, 1966 James Tolbert. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary for James TOLBERT, 79, who died Saturday at his home, 1433 Indiana. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery. He was born Sept. 14, 1886 at Smithland, Ky., and had lived in Kansas since 1921. He was a bridge builder for Rock Island Railroad before he retired. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene BROWN, of the home, and Mrs. Pauline BLAZIER, 1414 N. Monroe; a brother, William S. Tolbert, 1318 E. 22nd; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
