The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 10, 1966 Lilian Troup Dies; Services Pending. Lilian TROUP, 62, 621 W. 10th, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. She was born April 12, 1903. She lived at Concordia before moving to Topeka about 23 years ago. She attended the University of Kansas and was a secretary for the Board of Education at Concordia several years. She formerly worked as an entertainer on a home talent show for a Chicago radio station. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Concordia and was a charter member of the Topeka chapter of American Business Women. She was a former member of the Pilot Club of Topeka and the Topeka Business and Professional Women's Club. She had been active in the Kansas Repubican Club. She was employed by the Kansas State Moter Vehicle Department. Earlier she worked in the office of the state treasurer. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Concordia.
