The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 12, 1966 Edwin Kelley. Edwin L. KELLEY, 36, Route 1, Richland, died of a bullet would in his head Tuesday at a Topeka hospital. Dr. J.L. Lattimore, district coroner, said later Tuesday the shotgun bullet apparently was self-inflicted while Kelley was sitting in his car at a parking area near the northwest shore of Lake Shawnee. Dr. Lattimore said an autopsy will be performed today. Kelley died abotu two hours after he was admitted to a hospital. Edwin Kelley was born Oct. 22, 1929 in Topeka. He was a farmer. Survivors include a son, Mark Lee Kelley, and a daughter, Gloria Jean Kelley, both of 941 Sunset Lane; and his mother, Mrs. Floyd McGINNIS, at home. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
