The Topeka Daily Capital Friday January 14, 1966 Nora A. Long Dies Following Brief Illness. Mrs. Nora Alice LONG, 82, died Thursday at her home, 408 Burr, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 3, 1883, at Council Grove, and had been a Topekan 47 years, coming here from Wichita. She was member of Pentecostal Tabernacle. Survivors include her husband, William C. Long, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lula RUDOLPH, 409 Burr, and Mrs. Nora SHEPARD, 716 Madison; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carmen HUTCHERSON, 1829 E. 6th, and Mrs. Dorothy LINDER, 406 N. Ohio; three sons, Henry SALTER, 409 Burr, Rollie Salter of California, and Dale LONG, Route 7, Topeka; two stepsons, Raymond Long, Eudora, Kan., and Ralph LONG, Lakewood, Calif.; five grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rose CALDWELL, Tyler, Tex.; and one brother, Louis EASTWOOD, Emporia, Kan. Services will be announced by Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
