The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 10, 1966 George Trower Of Winchester Is Dead at 86. Winchester.--George E. TROWER, 86, Winchester, died Sunday in a hospital here after a long illness. He was born July 4, 1879 near Winchester and spent most of his life in the Winchester community. He was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church, rural Winchester. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iva Trower, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy HIEBSCH, Winchester; two sons, Samuel Trower, Kansas City, Mo., and Carl Trower, Wamego; a sister, Mrs. Laura ABBOTT, Winchester; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hampton Funeral Home at Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Wise Cemetery at Winchester.
