The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 12, 1966 Services Set For Topeka Woman, 96. Mrs. Viola RODERICK, 96, 1823 W. 2nd, died Tuesday at a Topeka hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 13 when she injured her right should in a fall. She was born July 18, 1869 at Kickapoo near Horton in Brown County and spent most of her life in the Topeka community. She was married to William H. Roderick of Valley Falls, Oct. 19, 1890. He died in 1951. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, an adopted daughter and two sons. Survivors include four sons, Roy C. Roderick, 2106 E. 6th, Joe L. Roderick, 738 Carnahan, Earl R. Roderick, Meriden, and Albert Roderick, Albert Roderick, at home; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
