The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 26, 1966 Clara McCrumb, Topeka, Is Dead. Mrs. Clara Virginia McCRUMB, 89, formerly of 1607 Tyler, died Tuesday at Topeka nursing home. She was born April 26, 1876, at McFarland and spent her early life in McFarland, Alma and Wamego communities. She lived in Topeka more than 45 years. She was a member of Beulah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Topeka, and was a member of the Quilting Group. She was a clerk for Capper Publications 27 years before she retired in 1954. Survivors include two sons, Earl F. McCrumb, Onaga, and Glenn F. McCrumb, Santa Monica, Calif.; two daughters, Amy McCrumb, 4002 Munson, and Mrs. J.L. Griffith, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Herman Von Kessel, Los Angeles, Calif. Private graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
