The Perry Mirror Jefferson County Thursday October 1, 1942 Sister Dies In Topeka. Mrs. Minnie YOUNG, aged 70, a resident of Shawnee county for many years, died unexpectedly late Wednesday at her home in Topeka. She was born February 18, 1872, at Melotte, Ind., and came to Kansas at the age of 12 with her parents, who settled at Tecumseh. Surviving are her husband, Elmer O. Young, of the home; four sons, Ernest E. Young, Anaheim, Calif., Otis L. Young, Topeka; Lester R. Young, Topeka, and Winford A. Young, Topeka; three brothers, George H. STRANGE, Perry, Will N. Strange, Alta Vista, Kan., and John H. Stange, Czar, Alberta, Canada; and ten grandchildren. The body was taken to the Penwell Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
