The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 25,1966 Nellie Greene Dies at 77 In Rest Home. Mrs. Nellie P. GREENE, 77, formerly of 1126 Lincoln, died Monday at a rest home at 1321 Madison. She was born July 11, 1888, at Carbondale and had lived in Topeka 65 years. She was a member of Lane Chapel CME Church. Her husband, William Greene died in October 1962. Survivors include four nieces, Mrs. Alice HURST, 1232 Lawrence, Mrs. Mazie JONES, 629 Golden Road, Mrs. Thelma PATTERSON, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Marguerite BELL, Portland, Ore. Bowser-Frey Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
