The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday January 29, 1966 George W. Radford. George W. RADFORD, 70, 1042 Boswell, died Friday in a Topeka hospital. He was born April 30, 1895 in Topeka and spent all his life in Topeka. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Jordan Patterson Post No. 319 of American Legion. He was a member of Lane Chapel CME Church and was a member of the church steward board 13 years. He was a member of the senior choir at the church since 1942. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Oletha Radford, of the home; a brother, Jake Radford, 1823 VanBuren; and a sister, Bessie Radford, 1823 VanBuren. Bowser-Frey Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
