    3. The Topeka Daily State Journal Thursday October 3, 1918 Deaths and Funerals. Mary STOKES, age 77, died Wednesday at her home, 625 Tyler street. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery. Edward M. NAUMAN, age 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Nauman, of Rochester died Wednesday morning. The funeral will be held this afteroon from the Rochester schoolhouse. Burial in Rochester cemetery. Woodrow A. WATERS, age 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Waters, 1329 West Sixteen street, died Wednesday in a local hospital. Funeral announcements later. Mrs. J.W. SHAY, of Miltonvale, fomerly Mrs. Addie A. BRIDE, of Topeka, died Wednesday at her home. Funeral announcements later. The funeral of Reuben H. TOWN, who died September 23(?), at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.F. KASSEHAUM, at San Diego, Calif., will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Valencia cemetery. Edwin Fields BALDWIN, age 19, of East Bradford, Va., died Wednesday at the home of his uncle, J.F. Baldwin, 416 West Sixth street. The body will be sent to East Bradford for burial. Mrs. Mella BULLOCK, age 83(?), died Wednesday at the residence, 516 West Gordon street. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Shellabarger's chapel. Burial in Rochester cemetery. Roger LAVERTY, a clerk in the Santa Fe purchasing department at Chicago, died at the Santa Fe hospital, Topeka, at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning. The funeral will be held at the Church of the Assumption Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock, burial in Mount Calvary cemetery. The funeral of Floyd W. BAILEY who died at Camp Grant, Rockford, Ill., will be held Friday morning at 10;30 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery.
