    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday January 29, 1966 L.A. Johnson Is Dead at 69. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church at Frankfort in Marshall County for Leonard A. JOHNSON, 69, who was dead on arriaval at a Topeka hospital Friday after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home, 728 Cambridge. He was born Sept. 7, 1896 at Axtell. He owned and operated the Andrew Johnson and Son Lumber Company at Frankfort many years before he retired. He had lived in Topeka since 1939. He served with the Army in France during World War I. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Topeka, Capital Post No. 1 of the American Legion, and Philip Billard Post No. 1650 of Veterans of Foreign Wars. A son, Leonard T. JOHNSON, died in 1947. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise H. Johnson, of the home; a son, Andrew W. Johnson, 1616 W. 26th; two daughters, Mrs. Christine MOODY, 3909 W. 26th, and Mrs. Carolyn BICKFORD, Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
