The Topeka Daily State Journal Saturday September 28, 1918 Deaths and Funerals. John J. SCHWARK, age 48, of 609 Lake street, died this morning in a local hospital. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery. Mrs. Minnie L. SIDWELL, died Friday morning at 8 o'clock at her home, 101 North Elmwood. The funeral will be held from the residence Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. J.W. Sidwell, her husband, died jus two weeks ago. (NOTE: Yesterday's newspapers had this lady listed as KIDWELL.) Mrs. Genevieve T. VEALE died Friday at her home, 827 Topeka avenue. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Wilbur S. GALLOWAY, Tinkham Veale and George W. Veale, III, of Detroit, Mich. The funeral of William HORNDACK will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning form Shellabarger's chapel. The services will be in charge of the Redmen of the North Topeka lodge. The body will be taken to Pekin, Ill., for burial.
