The Topeka Daily State Journal Monday September 9, 1918 Deaths and Funerals. Mrs. Catherine S. SHOAF, age 54, died at her home, Fourth and Holliday streets, Sunday night. She is survived by Mrs. Georgia BATES, a daughter and two sons, Dr. U.U. Shoaf, and R.R. Shoaf, all of Topeka. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial in Sower's cemetery, Overbrook. The funeral of the infant daughter of W.W. McCORD, 930 North Western avenue was held from the residence at 10 o'clock this morning. Burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
