The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 31, 1966 E.V. Martz Of McLouth Is Dead at 79. McLouth.--Mrs. Elizabeth V. MARTZ, 79, McLouth, died shortly after arrival Sunday in a Winchester hospital. She had suffered an apparent cerebral hemorrhage at her home earlier Sunday. She was born August 26, 1886 at Valley Falls and spent most of her life in the McLouth community. She was a member of Edmonds Evangelical United Brethren Church five miles north of McLouth. Her husband, John Martz, died in 1961. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Della DOHRN, McLouth; two sons, John H. Martz, Houston, Tex., and Ray L. Martz, McLouth; a sister, Mrs. Bertha MEANS, Tomball, Tex.; three brothers, Harvey MILLER, McLouth, Ivan Miller, Pharr, Tex., and Albert Miller, McAllen, Tex.; and four grandchildren. Bradford Funeral Home at McLouth is in charge of arrangements.
