The Topeka Daily State Journal Wednesday October 9, 1918 Deaths and Funerals. Malissa HEBERLING died at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of her brother, Junius L. Herberling, at Wakarusa. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. M.F. HOLTZ of Wakarusa; Ms. George NEIL, of Topeka, and two brothers, Geroge Heberling, of Spokane, and Junius L. Herberling. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial in Overbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Florence HAWKINS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Hawkins, 347 Elmwood avenue, died Tuesday at Great Bend, Kan. The Rev. H.L. Nelson left Tuesday night to conduct the funeral services. Mrs. Louisa M. FLINT, age 83, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The body was taken to Emporia this afternoon for burial. The funeral of Miss Anna LANNAN, age 15, who died at her home, 323 Jefferson street, Tuesday morning, was held at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The funeral was private and private services held at the grave. The funeral of Walter BOBB, age 31, of Wakarusa, who died Thursday at Camp Dix, N.J., was held this afternoon from the Wakarusa Presbyterian church at 2:30. Interment in Wakarusa cemetery. The funeral of Martin WIKIDAL, who died October 7, was held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the residence, 410 Topeka avenue.
