    3. The Topeka Daily State Journal Thursday October 24, 1918 Deaths and Funerals. Dale P. HILL, died Monday at his home in Kansas City, Mo. The funeral will be held Friday in Carthage, Mo. Chester SHORTT, son-in-law of the late Dr. Edwin LOCKE, died of pneumonia Saturday at the aviation training field, Dallas, Texas. The body will be taken to the family home in Wisconsin for burial. Mrs. Mary BRADSHAW, age 60, died Wednesday morning at her home on rural route No. 3. Funeral announcement later. John David MULVANE, age 37, died Wednesday morning at his home 315 East Sixth street. He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Elizabeth and Katherine, an uncle, Joab Mulvane; four cousins, Dr. W. Mulvane, Dr. J.G. Mulvane, Mrs. Speed HUGHES, Mrs. Harrison MORGAN; two sisters, Mrs. FENNHAUSER, Graineville, Ohio, and Mrs. George CULLES(?), of Des Moines, Ia., and a brother, Bert POWLSEN(?). Funeral services and burial wree held in Topeka cemetery this afternoon at 5 o'clock. Elmer MEREDITH, age 43, of 634 Polk street, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was held from the residence at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday. The body was sent to Frankfort, Kan., for burial. Harry C. FROST, age 30, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frost, died Tuesday at his home, 816 Bunker avenue, Kansas City, Kan. The funeral was held from the home of the parents, 515 East Third street at 10 o'clock this morning. Burial in Topeka cemetery. John Oscar McCALL, age 34, died Wednesday morning at a local hospital. He is survived by his mother, two brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home of his sister, Mrs. Emma PLANK, 1019 Jackson street. Burial in Topeka cemetery. Senior ARMENTO, age 26, died Wednesday night at his home, 123 Branner street. The funeral was held this afternoon at 5 o'clock from the residence. Burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Edward BUECHNER of 911 North Madison street, died this morning in a local hospital. Funeral announcements later. John W. WASHBURN, age 31, of 1275 Lincoln street, died this morning at 9:30 o'clock. Funeral announcements later. Mary SCHAFFER of 101 Chandler street, died this morning. Funeral announcements later. The funeral of Charles Edmond ASHER the 8-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Asher, of 1206 Logan street, who died Wednesday, was held this morning at 10 o'clock from Conwell's North Topeka chapel. Burial in Rochester cemetery. The funeral services of Ovie Homer WILLSEY, age 6, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Willsey, 351 Forest street, who died Tuesday were held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in Topeka cemetery. The funeral of Mrs. Anna HARDISON who died October 22, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, 1211 Lane street. Burial in Ritchie cemetery.
