The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 1, 1951 Harold Child. Harold CHILD, 68, former resident of Topeka, died suddenly Saturday morning in Manhattan. Death was caused by a heart attack. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and Methodist Church. He was employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose CHILD of the home in Manhattan; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma WILEY and Mrs. Louise SPENCE, both of Denver; five brothers, S.W. Child, Boise, Idaho; E.M. Child, Reading, Mass.; Marion F. Child, Maple Hill; C.D. Child and W.C. Child, Topeka and four grandchildren.
