The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 1, 1961 Mrs. Washabaugh Rites Set Monday. Mrs. Winifred M. WASHABAUGH, 79, mother-in-law of former State Printer Mrs. Lillian Wahsabaugh, died in a Topeka hospital Friday after an extended illness. She was admitted Dec. 18, 1960, for treatment of a hip injury. Mrs. Washabaugh was born March 25, 1882, in Bradford, Pa., and came to Topeka about a year ago from Natoma, Kan. She lived at 1010 College. Her husband, Dee W. Washabaugh, died in 1943. Surviving are two sons, John M. Washabaugh, 1010 College and Walter W. Washabaugh of Heraldton, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Mabel SIMPSON of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Holy Name Catholic Church with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the McMichael Memorial Home.
