    3. The Topek Daily Capital Monday March 7, 1961 Harry Gregory, Kansas Loan Official, Dies. The assistant loan commissioner for the State of Kansas, Harry S. GREGORY, Jr., 4825, W. 18th, died Sunday in a Topeka hopsital. He was 61. Formerly with the tax commission, Mr. Gregory's state service totaled 22 years. He was born in Pratt, May 31, 1899. Serving in World Wars I and II, he was a member of the Reno No. 140, AF&AM, of Hutchinson, past exalted ruler of No. 14 of BPOE of Pratt, a member of the Topeka consistory, a life member of the American Legion, District No. 7, and a lay reader of Rural Workers Fellowship of Grace Cathedral. He was a lay reader in the Hiawatha Episcopal Church for two years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ava F. Gregory at home; a son, Harry S. Gregory III, a duaghter, Mrs. Francis BAXTER, and a sister, Mrs. Fay SCHMIDT, all of Wichita; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday in the Grace Cathedral Chapel in Topeka. The body will lie in state at the Pratt Episcopal Church until 4 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic graveside services will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is charge of local arrangements.
