    3. The Topka Daily Capital Friday December 2, 1960 James Heckel Funeral Set For Saturday. Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel for James E. HECKEL, 66, 1735 Quincy, who died here in a hospital Wednesday. He was a retired baker for Reeder Donut Co. He was born in Richmond, Mo., Jan. 30, 1894, and was a World War I veteran. He had lived here 18 years. He was a member of the Mitchell Park Christian Church at St. Joseph, Mo., Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and American War Dads. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Irene Heckel of the home; two sons, James L. Heckel, 2604 Valley Brook, and Charles E. Heckel, 216 Arter; four daughters, Mrs. Richard Quiett of the home; Mrs. Donald Paschall, 1036 Arter; Mrs. Flossie Locklin of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Tommy Burnett of Wheatland, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Florence Young of St. Joseph; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
