Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Shaffer Mortuary at Lyndon for Mrs. Birdie ALLEY, 79, of Melvern, who died Tuesday in a hospital at Emporia. She lived in Osage County all of her life and was a member of the Methodist Church. Born Nov. 18, 1881, near Quenemo, she is survived by her widower, Archie L. ALLEY at hoem; a daughter, Mrs. Helen TROUT and a son, Ervin ALLEY, both of Melvern; three brothers, Louis HEILMAN of New Carlisle, Ohio; Eddie HEILMAN of Burlingame and Willie HEILMAN of Melvern; two sisters, Mrs. Attie MATHERS and Mrs. Mable HOTCHKISS, both of Melvern, and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery east of Melvern.
