The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 28, 1958 Rufus K. Trivet. Rufus K. TRIVETT, 77, of Onaga, died Wednesday following a heart attack. He had been employed by the Lawrence Daily Journal-World for 32 years prior to his retirement several years ago. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Trivett, of the home; a son, Wilmer Trivett, Lancaster, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Gene GALKENSTEIN, Onaga, and Mrs. LeRoy HIGGINS, Prairie Village; a brother, Clayton Trivett, Gold Beach, Ore.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Tessendorf Funeral Home, Onaga, with burial in the Onaga cemetery.
