    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday January 6, 1952 Mrs. Clifford Stowell Dies on Way to Florida. Mrs. Mae Florence STOWELL, wife of Clifford T. Stowell, died un-expectedly Saturday morning in a Baxley, Ga., hospital. Mrs. Stowell and her husband were en route to Florida when she became ill on the train, presumably of a heart condition, and was taken off the train at Baxley where she died a short time later. Mrs. Stowell was born in Beloit, coming to Topeka with her family in 1918. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and NNS Club of Topeka, and the Eastern Star in Beloit. Mr. Stowell was employed in the building superintendents office of the Santa Fe until his retirement. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George GREENWOOD, 1310 Lakeside; a son, Millard N. Stowell, Chicago; five grandchildren, M.N. Stowell Jr., Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Ross F. THOMPSON, 2117 Wayne, Miss Nancy Greenwood, student at Colorado College, Jack and James Greenwood, 1310 Lakeside; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy CREAGOR, Concordia and Mrs. Mary McGRATH, 1018 Polk.
