The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday November 5, 1960 A. Lee Smith. A. Lee SMITH, 61, of Kansas City, Kan., died Friday in a Topeka hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1899, in Lawrence. He operated an automobile service station in Kansas City. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Iola. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Maude SMITH of the home; three sons, Albert M. SMITH of Kansas City, Kan.; Kenneth G. SMITH of Kansas City and Terrance D. SMITH of Lackland Air Force Base, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia TURNER of Springfield, Ohio; Mrs. Sharon IVERSON of Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Betty F. WARD, 2201 Western, and Mrs. Dorothy HOLT, 1414 Western; four sisters, Mrs. May ROBBINS of Chicago, Mrs. Ordea B. GRAVES of Los Angeles; Mrs. Glady HENRY and Mrs. Marjorie GARDNER, 1803 VanBuren; 11 grandchildren; and one brother, Isaac F. SMITH of Akron, Ohio. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bowser's Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.
